YOUNG EXECUTIVE SCHOOL (YES) BAGS 2022 BEST BECE PERFORMING SCHOOL AWARD

Young Executive School (YES) has been awarded for its supreme academic performance in last year's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) which was recently released by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).

Despite the somewhat average and disappointing results recorded generally by most schools in the country, Young Executive School managed to stick out with an impressive showing which saw 110 candidates out of 120 secure at least 06 ones from nine subjects, nine (9) had aggregate 07 and just a student obtaining 08 being the least aggregate.

The award dubbed as the 'Best Performing School Award' is an annual recognition given to the most outstanding basic school in BECE during Ghana's Independence Day celebration. Having previously won this award on multiple times, it's least surprising to see YES clinching it again to cement its superiority in Kasoa and beyond for eight successive years. This year's edition which took place at its usual ground, the Ofaakor Cluster of Schools Park, was thick with  high-powered delegation from the Awutu Senya-East Municipality, the Educational Office ,the Security Agencies , Heads and Teachers of the respective schools, Religious Groups, the media and people from all walks of life.

The award presentation was preceded by a march past by some selected schools and a cultural display in the municipality to commemorate Ghana's 66th Independence Day Celebration headlined: 'Our Unity, Our Strength, Our Purpose'.

As the school(YES) is inextricably connected to awards, it emerged as runners-up out of the thirty-five (35) selected schools which participated in the march past. The visually striking display from YES march-past contingent was noticeably greeted by tumultuous applause from the thick gathering, and the judges have no option than to bestow on YES as the  best in the private schools category and second-best overall in 2023 march past.

These awards add to the already-received ones from being the most responsible Educational Institute, UCIA Best Private Sector Educational Award, Most Enterprising and Fastest Growing school,GHAPRIS Heroes of Distinct Award et al.
